The SECURITY GROUP insures that all delegates, convention activities, and facilities are safe from hazardous conditions.
The TRANSPORTATION GROUP
This group makes recommendations to the national Transportation Committee (of the GMWA) on the most economical shuttles and bus service in the host city.
IMPORTANT: Cannot enter into any contract but can put entities into contact with the GMWA Transportation contact if requested to do so.
This committee arranges for round trip transportation of delegates using public transportation systems (bus, van, train, etc) to and from the various hotels.
Dependent upon the location, and if the nightly musicals and classes are held in a different location than the headquarters hotel, transportation must be provided to and from these activities to the various hotels that are used.
